Plugin Updates 176~

A number of plugins got updated today. Mostly as anti-crash measures for users that don’t have something tied to each setting or settings that are being made midway throughout battle. The Target Core update takes care of some visual effects that weren’t showing properly, and Selection Control’s Disperse Damage effect now occurs before damage capping as long as it is placed under Damage Core on the plugin list.

Plugin Updates 175~

Action Sequence Pack 2 and Animated Sideview Enemies get reworked a bit to have state icons and state overlays to work more intuitive. Because the default nature of RPG Maker MV never intended for battlers to be jumping at one another, let alone floating, the positioning of the state icons and state overlays stayed at a consistent height. This update makes it so that if your battler is jumping/floating, the icons will travel with you.

A couple of updates tonight. The Extended Message Pack 1 plugin gets an update. Previously, going past 20+ choices would result in them always being hidden. This should be fixed with this update. The Item Core, Attachable Augments, Item Disassemble, and More Currencies plugin gets a typo fix. If you are using the plugins, be sure to update them all!~

Plugin Updates 173~

A couple of plugins have been updated. The Class Change Core and Row Formation plugins have gained a new plugin parameter. The ‘Auto Add Menu’ parameter allows you to decide if you wish for the plugin itself to handle adding the command to the main menu itself. This is for Main Menu Manager users who wish to add the commands themselves without the plugin interfering.

The Counter Control plugin gets a couple of bugfixes. The Eval condition didn’t work previously. Now it should. The default MV counter used to also trigger upon magical attacks. Now it will be physical only.

The Equip Battle Skills get a crash fixed when no skill would exist.

The Steal & Snatch plugin gets a new Lunatic Mode notetag that triggers upon successfully stealing any item unique to that skill.

Plugin Updates 172~

Two plugins are updated tonight!

The Core Engine is updated to v1.15. The update made here is a change to the Window system. Now, windows are no longer able to have widths and heights that aren’t decimals. Everything will be rounded up. This change is made because decimal widths and heights can cause problems and clipping issues.

The Item Core is updated to v1.23 to fix an issue with the custom info display. Previously, using different font sizes in the the custom info display would cause the text to not show align evenly. This should mitigate the problem.

The Equip Battle Skills plugin gets a compatibility update with the Skill Core. Those using the “Hide in Battle” notetag for skills will now have it applied for equipped battle skills, too. It will not apply for the “Hide in Field” notetag, as that would cause the skill slot to be alterable.

Plugin Updates 170~

A couple of updates tonight. The Save Core gets an update made to mitigate some of the lagging issues players may be getting from loading up save file data from passing through the various slots. This update should reduce that by giving a bit of a delay as the cursor passes those files. Enhanced TP gets a documentation update that missed out on letting users know that <TP Mode: x> can be used for enemies as well. Enemy Levels gets an update to the Lunatic Mode to allow abbreviations used in FlyingDream’s Enemy Levels calculator.

A couple of updates made tonight. The Buffs & States Core gets an anti-crash method added to it in case anyone is using a plugin that happens to utilize battler sprites that don’t have battlers attached to them. The Selection Control gets a couple of updates to make them work with the Bypass and Ignore Taunt notetags from the YEP_Taunt plugin. The Part Limit Gauge gets bug fixes done to plugin commands that prevented them from working properly.

Plugin Updates 166~

Apparently, I forgot to upload the Item Upgrades Slots update last time… orz.

The Item Core has an update the fixes a disconnect which may mix up together Weapon ID’s with Armor ID’s if they have the same base ID. This update should get that cleared up. The Equip Requirements plugin had a bug in it that would crash the game that I couldn’t replicate but tried to fix. Whether or not the bug is fully fixed, I’m unsure of, so be sure to let me know if something comes up.

Plugin Updates 164~

Happy May, everybody! There’s a couple of plugin updates tonight.

The Core Engine gets an optimization update. What’s going on here is that while testing a few things on browser today, I noticed lag in even empty projects. While not the worst of lag, it could be fixed a bit better. Turns out that some of the loops being used by default in RPG Maker MV are some of the more memory intensive loops so those have been replaced by more efficient ones. Let’s hope this turns out for better~

The Battle Engine Core and Equip Requirements get a couple of bug fixes. They weren’t even really things I’ve noticed, but if they happen, they’ll have to get fixed. Let’s hope this update takes care of them.

The Limited Skill Uses plugin gets an update to the documentation on an incorrect categorization for a Lunatic Mode effect. This documentation is now updated properly.

The Buffs & States Core gets a big update for Lunatic Mode users. States are now able to display counters. State Counters are newly added features to suplement states. They are used purely in custom manners, which means they do not serve any function by themselves. State Counters can be used to note a number of stacks, a stored percentage, display a message, etc. All of it is purely updated based on JavaScript functions. You can find out more information about them in the help file!
