Plugin Updates 126~

A couple of plugin updates tonight! The updates are to synch up the current plugins with the new changes made to MV’s version 1.1.0 update. To my surprise, there weren’t that many plugins that needed updating, although I’m sure a few may have flew under the radar. Whatever the case is, these plugins are updated and should work regardless of whether or not you have updated to version 1.1.0.

Plugin Updates 110~

Whew! A couple of bug fixes today! The Core Engine gets a fix for a rather less used Notetag. The Battle Engine Core underwent a few updates in the past, but made some overrides towards the Animated Sideview Enemies’ customized death motions. This should fix that. The Skill Learn System gets a small change for level requirements that would make more sense. Have fun!

Plugin Updates 97~

A fix was made for the Weapon Animation plugin to work with the Animated Sideview Enemies plugin. 😀 Class Change Core had a new update to it where the Change Actor Image event will give priority over class image changes for sprites, faces, and battlers. If you’re running a saved game, this won’t take effect retroactively, but anything past the updated version of the plugin in a loaded game will take effect. Enemy Levels now have a <Ignore Level Bonus> notetag. This causes enemies to maintain their current level but ignore any bonus stats applied by the level difference. If the enemy’s level is altered, its stats remain static and unchanging. Those are the updates for tonight! 😀

Musical Themes by FlareGear Interactive && Plugin Updates 89~

rabbitmusic

Flaregear has made some beautiful music to share for everybody over at RPG Maker Web. I figured it’d be great to further share with you all, too! And just as equally amazing is that these fine tunes are also free for use in both commercial and non-commercial games provided that you provide “Joey Giuliana / FlareGear Interactive” credit (more information on the Terms of Use in the link shared. Be sure to check it out!~

Actually, there’s quite a few updates tonight, which makes it somewhat embarrassing about my saying about the library reaching stability. However, the bug fixes were more or less those oddball cases I was talking about the other night. The other updates are a couple of upgrades and fixes to existing plugins that enhance functionality. For the most part, some of these bugs will be bugs that are rarely encountered, but they still do occur from time to time and so long as that happens, they’ll need to get fixed.

Drifty’s Mining System Tutorial && Plugin Updates 85~

This is one of the most asked tutorials I’ve seen over the years in the RPG Maker community. So, for those who want a mining system, Drifty over at Driftwood Gaming made an awesome tutorial on how to create a mining system for your game! Be sure to check it out. 😀

A couple of updates today. Bug fixes and code structure changes. However, for those using the Item Synthesis system that was released today, a new update was made to it. Previously, the items you can craft completely depended on whatever recipes were in the player’s inventory. Now, a change was made to the OpenSynthesis command. If you add Item, Weapon, or Armor after the command along with an ID, the synthesis menu will only show the items listed on the recipe for Item x, Weapon x, or Armor x.

Not much on the side of updates today. Most of them are performance updates with the exception of the Action Sequence Pack 2 to allow enemies to display weapons while making attack motions.

I figured it’d make more sense to keep a changelog of the updates on a stationary page rather than making a new post every single day. However, I’m going to remove comments from this page so please list the bugs found in the most recent Plugin Updates post here: Plugin Updates as of Launch…
