Today, we don’t have any bugfixes, but we do have an update for the Item Core and the Item Upgrade Slots plugins. It’s come to my attention that some of the plugins out there overwrite functions needlessly to make item names appear a different text color. While overwriting simplifies the process, it does cause incompatibility issues with other plugins, including mine. So, in response to this, I’ve made some updates to these two plugins. The Item Core now supports Text Colors while the Item Upgrade Slots plugin will enable you to have upgraded items change a different text color, too. This should solve the problem of those plugins causing compatibility issues by no longer needing them as this plugin will now enable you to have a text color system of your own without causing compatibility issues.

A couple of updates are made today. The Battle Engine Core fixes a hovering problem for selecting enemies. The Event Chase Player plugin has an update to allow for you to be able to adjust the volume, pitch, and pan of the alert sounds.

This is an extension plugin for the Skill Core plugin. This plugin enables you to set a limited amount of times certain skills (or all skills) can be used per battle or ever. This adds a different type of skill currency and balance mechanic in limiting the amount of times a skill can be used without directly having alter MP, TP, or the like. Continue reading →
The Core Engine plugin has been updated to match the formation changes of Row Formation for enemies. Not only that, this will also prove a bit more effective even if you aren’t using Row Formation since this will cache the locations of any changes for that battle. In RPG Maker MV’s source code, some of the values for the face width were set to a hard value of 144, regardless of what you changed the face width values to. This update will set those values to adjust with whatever you set face width graphics to. Also, an update to the EXP modifier notetag for enemies has been updated.

The TP system in RPG Maker MV is rather limiting. A lot of the TP system is hardcoded in giving RPG Maker MV users very little control over how much TP gain a battler can receive from particular actions and situations. This plugin gives you the ability to adjust how much TP battlers will acquire various actions, different TP modes, and letting players selecting and pick what TP mode they want for each actor.
A couple of updates today! A small update for the Action Sequence Pack 1 and an update for the Event Mini Window to have an X Buffer! The Gab Window also has timing issues fixed to not include text codes.

Quite a few fixes tonight, although some rather odd ones. Under some very specific circumstances, Instant Skills don’t register properly if they are used by a team unit against an opponent unit making them force an action. The ATB and CTB plugins got some bug fixes, too. Previously, going back and forth between the Fight/Escape window and the action window will cause on turn effects to trigger, which included cooldown updates, so cooldowns could be effectively canceled out by just canceling in and out a few times of the Fight/Escape menu. The Row Formation plugin gets another visual update. Be sure to download the newest updates!
